Let's shop for old things!
An occasional roundup of my vintage picks that you can buy right this very minute!
I’ve been a vintage collector (hoarder) as long as I’ve been able to trade cash for goods. Every once in a while a follower or reader will ask where I found something (or how I found a particular thing for so little $). Or they tell me they wish they could go shopping with me. That sparked an idea — as an occasional fun feature for paid subscribers, I’ll spontaneously do a vintage search according to my patented Searching Ways™ and send you direct links to the items I’ve found and loved (and tried not to buy myself). These items are (obviously) all one of a kind, so if they’re gone by the time you read this then, baby, they are gone. You gotta act fast!
I’m in Los Angeles currently and I have been freezing cold and soaked to the bone since I got here. I definitely mocked how “cold” it was going to be in LA before I left Vermont and all I’ll say in my defense is that I had forgotten that LA cold just hits different! It just does! Anyway, it all makes me feel like a giant stupid baby. And as I worked on this search, it had me thinking about warmer weather anywhere and everywhere. I’ve got a couple of amazing dresses for you, vintage picnic balls (if you’ve never seen one nor heard of one they are an absolutely underrated invention — perfect for family camping and beach trips), a little home decor, and a roundup of killer vintage tote bags and one (1) nautical duffle. Just one item is over $100, most are under $50! As always, read the full description, check measurements and shipping costs and return policies before you buy. Ok? Ok! Let’s go shopping!
